{"id":641,"date":"2012-02-22T07:54:59","date_gmt":"2012-02-22T12:54:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/johncbogle.com\/wordpress\/?p=641"},"modified":"2012-02-22T07:56:39","modified_gmt":"2012-02-22T12:56:39","slug":"the-bogle-issue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/johncbogle.com\/wordpress\/2012\/02\/22\/the-bogle-issue\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;The Bogle Issue&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>February 22, 2012<\/p>\n<p>To Principals and Veterans,<\/p>\n<p>As one who wrote a book entitled <em>Enough.<\/em>, I&#8217;m wondering whether my mission to serve investors hasn&#8217;t now gotten &#8220;enough&#8221; attention in this 60th year of my career.<\/p>\n<p>I raise this (delightful) concern following the &#8220;JCB Legacy Day&#8221; celebration on Wall Street three weeks ago, for this morning I received a copy of the current issue of <em>Journal of Indexes<\/em>, devoted almost entirely to my work-&#8220;The Bogle Issue.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It includes comments from a wide range of industry participants about my role in making the financial world-and especially the mutual fund world-a better place for investors.
