“Over the top” can be fun, particularly if it comes only infrequently!
Surely “over the top” is a fair description of the lengthy piece–“The Warrior”–appearing in the April 1, 2010 issue of The American Way magazine of American Airlines. It is remarkably generous in its appraisal of Vanguard and my career.
And if that’s a fair description of the article, the portrait is so far “over the top” that we need to find a new, more exuberant expression.
I think you’ll enjoy both the story and the painting. I hope so!
